Highland Park Church is dedicated to being active in the community through special partnerships with local ministries in Lakeland and surrounding areas.


kidsPACK USA  is a nonprofit organization supported by community leaders, corporate sponsors, churches and concerned citizens joined with a core of volunteers throughout the county dedicated to improving the lives and opportunities of children. KidsPACK's purpose is to energize local communities to impact the lives of children sparking a positive change and giving the opportunity…

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives… one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.

Combee Connection

The outreach, Combee Connection, hands out food and other necessities once a week to those living in the Combee area. Combee Connection has a bus ministry and take more than 50 people, including children, to church at Highland Park each week. Combee Connection volunteers go out to walk the streets and visit with every one of their bus families each week. This local ministry was started and is run by Kay Kasser and her husband Dave, as well as Harry Walters.

Dream Center

Dream Center of Lakeland exists to restore families & empower community by meeting needs in order to introduce people to long-term relationships with Jesus. Founded in 2003, the Dream Center of Lakeland has always aimed to serve the community by meeting real needs and offering resources for positive change. Through community service, mentoring programs, community classes and more, the Dream Center hopes to offer Christ's genuine love to those we encounter.


Foster Care

Last year in Florida alone, children were removed from their homes more than 16,000 times due to abandonment, abuse or neglect. HP is committed to meeting the needs of children going through trauma and the foster parents who care for them. Through our Foster Care ministry, we focus on providing support and resources to existing foster parents and recruiting new foster parents. For more information contact RJ and Heather Walters
